Year-In-Review 2024

Here we are again, the clocks are ticking fast as we come closed to sign-off 2024 this evening. Times have changed so much this year!

The beginning of 2024, I welcome my new born granddaughter. What a joy it is to see how precious life in your arms to see my little one growing so fast. I have grown to love her so much! Can't wait to teach her to draw as well.

Sadly, I have lost my belovin' brother Burwell, who I will missed very deeply, during the difficult trying times. I love you Burwell! I will always remember your laughs! This is a paying tribute to you in the Arts and Music Entertainment Business! Thunderbird Rocks will make you very proud!

Behind the art scenes: 

I have particpated at art shows. I have taught few individuals to draw and paint. Glad to see many art folks out there to take advantage of the courses that I offered with tips and tricks plus gifts from me for those who participate in the art classes. I will be teaching art again as we ring in the New Year 2025 starting the month of January for 3 classes on How to Oil Paint! Can't wait to see how many will participate.

During 2024, I have designs flyers, business cards, posters, videos, logos, paintings, wedding photographer, leather making, DVDs, my store, audio recordings and drones.

Books, I can't tell you how much rewarding that is to see your artworks published and embedded forever in the history that will go within the time continuum in the future. Well, let's talk about the books!

Children book illustrations, I'm A Little Smoke Dancers went viral and hit the scenes this year with a brand new author name Darelyn Spruce. As we anticipate another surprising projects what lies ahead!

I have drawn another book cover for A Cadence Mystery Series written by a well known established author name Dianne L. Hagan entitled Improbable Future #5 book series. Are we are looking forward to another exciting book featuring A Cadence Mystery series coming in 2025! Is it with my pleasure to announce as Dianne has already made known book #6 is coming. Already working on #7. I gotta move fast!

As time move fast, I recently did a pencil drawing of the Seneca Nation logo from the flag. The drawing was used on a book cover entitled Onöhsagwë:de' Cultural Center,  Onöndowa'ga:' Cultural and Historical Insights of Seneca Nation, Nëhdöwes(Randy John) with the assistance of Rebecca Bowen, Seneca Nation Archivist. Ja:göh!(Good job!)

Through networking, I have gain new friendships, trusts, a mentor on giving art tips and advice to my fellow students and peers.

I have been working on a special project for quite sometime. Soon, time will tell when that time will come perhaps in 2025? We will see what the future projects brings? 😎

I always taught that even if you can learn how to draw a straight line or not so straight line, you are an ARTIST. I will always keep drawing as you have seen my pencil portraits this year. I have plans for future projects to keep my pencils going perhaps to be printed on calendars, apparels or paraphernalia gift for upcoming 2025! I see color pencils on a rise!

Another technologies to think about. My web design skills is being refresh to keep up-to-date with the realm of world-wide-web-arena. Someone encouraged me to learn more or perhaps receive a certificate in the future. I thank this person for giving me guidance although this person doesn't realized the fact that I took up the advice LOL. The web technologies, I will continue to hone in my skills in web developments. I will be updating my blogs, art store, websites and apps in the future months ahead.

I love taking photos. Been a photographer since my early days of high school years of learning to developed the films. My age is showing, along with the fast camera shutter speeds keeps clicking and even faster speeds in the air as a drone operator. I will always keep on taking photo shoots. I welcome anyone to hire me a wedding photographer.

As I wear so many hats as you can tell. After so many years within art industries has given me privileges to keep up with networking, keeping up with my skill sets. Who knows where this will lead for more projects ahead in 2025. Are we ready for the unknown? Am I ready for the changes in 2025? That remains to be seen! As we face with so many challenges. Exciting things to come as it will enravels the mysteries of the unknown with great anticipations with great eagerness of mind. 😄

For the closing of 2024. Not knowing the unknown in 2025 is very interesting! New projects, New gadgets, New techniques, schooling, future art shows and networkings. I will be doing more dronin'. I piece it together and practice at home as an old saying practice makes perfect! I will continue to drone in my own business in photography or videography.

 Bradesign Arts Gets A New Logo I have created a fresh brand new identity logo for my Bradesign Arts business for marketing strategies. The reasons behind my creative ideas through brainstorming sessions that I was pitching around for many years of experiences in graphic designs, drawings, photography and web developments. I have had rough ideas or thumbnails sketches for my logo. I have played around with it after so many years. Finally, within the last 2 months, I created a brand new logo for my identity purposes for business cards, promotional packages, etc... for my own freelance business of Bradesign Arts.
