To Be A Graphic Designer or
Not to Be A Graphic Designer
Being an artist all my life in various stages of different avenues in art related fields. As I was growing up, I knew what I wanted to do was just to be an artist. I love to paint and love to create with my hands. As I was closely nearly graduating from high school. I never thought of being a commercial artist. So I attended the Art Institiute of Pittsburgh.
I learned that graphic design has always been a popular profession. Technology changes every day since I began attending to Art Institute of Pittsburgh back in late 1987. The first blog appears in the 1990s, never have I thought that I be a blogger today.
Back on the subject of graphic design...technology in applied graphics as user-friendly as possible by the use of software platforms that make up the elements to be a graphic or web designer today.
I learned to prepare myself within a career path as a graphics designer for over 20 years. Alot has changed since I was in school. I needed to keep abreast on world wide web as the technology continue to grow over the course of time. As I continue to get my foot in the door of the graphic design world, from how to land your first job, to finding continued inspiration, to the ins and outs of joining the graphics design community.
Now that I worked in the newspaper business, technology in the newspaper field has drastically changed within the last couple years, faster, productive in a fast pace technology software programs being used in window PC for daily papers but ever growing fast online populations for readers. I have the privilege of knowing the strong foundation needed in the world of graphic design, along with the skills needed to keep up with today and future prospects in a world wide web technologies and social media as well.
So I ask myself a question, was it worth to be a Graphic Designer or Not To Be a Graphic Designer? Only I, can answer that to myself...
There you have it!
Thank you,
