The Year 2022 Is Almost Over

The Year 2022 Is Almost Over
by Bradley Jimerson, December 11, 2022

Well, this year has been great! Bradesign Arts and 'Just U Pose' Photography has been pretty busy this year! The highlights of the year 2022, which I will post for a year-in-review of my works on my Bradesign Arts facebook page to take a look back throughout this year.

My photography assignments, art shows, graphic designs, book covers design jackets, illustrations, paintings, videos, social medias, and the visits between both the Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center, Salamanca, NY and The Sully Huff Heritage Center, Irving, NY.

It was awesome to be at the Seneca Niagara Casino recently hosted The Haudenosaunee Micro-Short Film Program at The Bear's Den in November 2022 as part of their Native American Heritage Month events. The program feature is curated by Seneca filmmaker Terry Jones and is a collection of short films created by 12 Haudenosaunee filmmakers. It was an honor to be selected among the screening of my film entitled: Neh Osha:da' (The Fog) by Bradesign Arts.

I had a wonderful time on December 2nd, for attending the Ganondagan Artshow and the artist receptions for submitting my acrylic painting entitled:  Kaleidoscope Corns, Beans and Squashes, 24x20 inches. It was such an honor meeting the Hodinöhsö:ni artists at the Ganondagan, Victor, NY. I am so happy to participated this year at Ganondagan Artshow 2022. My congratulations to all the winners and the Honorable mentions at the artshow. So many talents and creativities to be seen and sold. Of course, my painting got sold during the Winter Art Exhibits on December 3rd the following day in Ganondagan. Take care my painting Kaleidoscope Corns, Beans, and Squashes. I look forward to next year again at the Ganondagan Artshow entry and many others artshows and exhibits for 2023.

I have had a privilege of being a speaker at the The Sully Huff Heritage Center, to demonstrate and speak about 'How to Photograph My Art' talk series through the Native Roots Artist Guild Organization.

I became a Honorable place winner at the Seneca Nation Fall Festival Artshow that I submitted my acrylic painting entitled 'The Red Fox', 20x24 inches. My congratulations to all artists winners this past September 2022.

I have had a privilege to be a Wedding Photographer this year for my private client for 'Just U Pose' Photography. Also attended to take pictures and videos for the Indigenous Spirit Dancers at the KeyBank, Buffalo, NY as well as the Bisons Basball Game to take pictures of the Indigenous Spirit Dancers for the night celebrating the Native American Heritage Day back in April 2022. As you have already seen the new logo of the Indigenous Spirit Dancers that I cleaned up the logo already design by the local artist who design the original logo. Glad I was able to help assist with the logo.

So many projects to name that Bradesign Arts and 'Just U Pose' work together this year!

We have all been through the craziness of the pandemic since 2020 plus the fear of the unknown at times or wondering what will happens next in the worldwide scenes.

We learned to take one day at a time. Since I wear many hats in my field of Visual Communications(Commercial Arts), Photography, Videography, Social Medias and Web Developments. I will continue both networks and marketing my businesses to many for designs, consultants or a speaker.

I will continue to keep honing my web developments skills within the web technology to keep up-to-date for more freelance web developments jobs. As you see that in last couple years working, I help developed websites such as the sninews.org, defendohiyo.org and senecamuseum.org to view the page for Women of Influence Each Block A Story. Enjoy looking up these websites!

Let us continue toward the end of the year 2022! You will see me again in 2023!

There you have it! 😀

Bradesign Arts Gets A New Logo I have created a fresh brand new identity logo for my Bradesign Arts business for marketing strategies. The reasons behind my creative ideas through brainstorming sessions that I was pitching around for many years of experiences in graphic designs, drawings, photography and web developments. I have had rough ideas or thumbnails sketches for my logo. I have played around with it after so many years. Finally, within the last 2 months, I created a brand new logo for my identity purposes for business cards, promotional packages, etc... for my own freelance business of Bradesign Arts. When I write my letter 'B' is always as cursive in my handwriting signature and flowing letter to capture the audience with a shadows of 2D look to capture the attention with the on-lookers. Nowadays, the cursive writing is discouraged for the younger generations to come, sad to see. Paula(my wife) as a homeschool teacher for all of my 3 children stay at home from the st

Gouache Paintings

Gouache Painting By  B radley Jimerson, Gouache Artist "Water Runs Through It" By  B radley Jimerson, Gouache Artist I learned to gouache paints since high school and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. It is used for painting illustrations for any paints and drawings art classes that I attended at The Arts Institute of Pittsburgh to be a commercial artist. I learn to use the base board which is a thick bristol board so that it would not warp when wet. To use for any paints to apply on the bristol board. I was taught to apply only a small amount of gouache paint. The paint colors comes in a set of 6, 10 or 18 gouache paint set or whatever it is available in the art stores nearby. To apply the paint is almost as if your watercolor painting. There is a trick to change a color or fix a mistake just using the brush strokes technique over the color or line to remove or simply change a color that it can be reactivated with water. Gouache is opague and dense in covering. It differs in
